Overall, we are very well satisfied with this washing machine, but especially appreciate the 18-minute short cycle. For the bulk of our laundry needs, the 18-minute cycle seems to do the job very well. It's a savings of time quite obviously and probably of laundry resources as well.

I wanted to love this stacked washer and dryer especially the blue colour but after 4 months of having it, I had to have all 4 the shocks changed for the loud noise it made prior to the spin cycle. Now™€¦4 months after the fix, it™€™s starting again same thing only the noise is not as loud (yet). Machine is supposedly balanced as confirmed by techs but shakes like crazy when spinning. Need to install water hammers for how loud it is when it™€™s filling with water. Was told I™€™m not washing correctly, but I don™€™t believe that is the problem. Have tried different cycles and amounts. No difference. So disappointed that I don™€™t even want to use it anymore.

We didn™€™t want a smart washer, just a solid washer that wouldn™€™t fail early on in its lifetime, and this model is expected to fit the bill for us. I don™€™t love the buttons used for cycle selection, as they™€™re not particularly sensitive and you sometimes have to touch them more than once. This is the main reason for the 4/5 star rating, because I notice it most of the times I use the washer (which is probably every 3 days that I run a load). Also, there™€™s not a spin cycle (only rinse and spin), but I knew this from previous reviews online, and I always make sure to adjust the setting to highest spin speed, and I™€™m more than happy with how much water has been removed at the end of the each cycle. But if the washer lasts as long for us as the history of the brand suggests in reviews, then the button sensitivity issue is not that big of a deal.

I really like the appliances, but I'm not at all happy with the dealings I have had with Electrolux as a corporation. A small problem came up and I tried, repeatedly, to get help. Everyone that I talked to was very hard to understand, I had to keep asking them to repeat themselves or explain further. Then I was informed that there were no technicians in my area! The appliances are good, not so much the telephone help.

I told my husband if he ever brought another samsung appliance in our home we are headed for the big D and I don™€™t mean Dallas! This unit replaces a barely two year old large capacity top load Samsung washer. I read unincentivized reviews on Maytag, Whirlpool, Speed Queen and this unit. It™€™s price point is good and better than Lowes when bought directly from Electrolux if you get delivery and warranty. My top loader had horrible balancing issues, wouldn™€™t drain properly and the motherboard had already been replaced. I wanted something more simple. This unit has handled everything Ive put in it including a king size medium thickness comforter with ease. My laundry is coming out clean without having to pretreat stains from my 3 toddlers. The settings cover all your needs and the laundry timing is actually pretty accurate so far. I can expect my laundry to be done by the timer. You can turn off the annoying musical tones unlike other units! No wobbling, balancing issues, seems to fill with appropriate amount of water. The detergent tray has different compartments depending on your preference for pods, liquid or powder. I had a couple socks and small items get into the rubber rim of the door after washing but that™€™s an issue with all front loaders. I leave the door open at night to allow it to dry and wipe the rubber rim when I think of it to prevent mold or mildew from any standing water left behind. I have had a front loader years ago and recall having to do these things so perhaps you dont. People mention a rubber smell initially and I noted that on delivery but it quickly went away and I don™€™t smell that anymore. I am happy with this machine so far!
